I have never seen a wildfire before now. This one started up right before we got there. Unfortunately, that meant we had to detour the long way home, but what a sight! Certainly the most menacing flames I have ever seen. I could not really catch the flames in the photo because of all the smoke, but I think this photo gives a good idea.
News reports say it was related to a truck fire. The smoke looked clean though, no burning tires or plastic. The managed to stop it pretty quick at least.
